Went back into my archives and found this footage. This is the first full HD sensual video footage I made with my Sony HC-9 HDV camcorder back in 2008. I am still amazed at the HDV format. It is very flattering to the female body. Not used much today but I still prefer it. The model, Cali-Luv, is moving in real time while listening to the soundtrack. I did not slow this down (except for the last 10 secs). Shot with available window light only..

What better way to test the new 8k Red weapon, than a wake & bake session. I could have shot in 8k, but due to slow-motion capabilities, i stuck to 6k @ 80fps. I didn't downscale, however i can't speak for Vimeo converting it to 4K. There is still a lot to be learned about this camera. considering this is a major upgrade from the Sony FS5. I will continue to use the FS5 from time to time since it has better ergonomics and as of now a solid workflow. However this camera is pure cinema, with some good glass and a subject, the possibilities are endless.
